Privacy Notice for Business Contacts

1. Who this is for
This notice is for people we deal with in a business capacity: football clubs, leagues, fan groups, pubs and venues, travel and hospitality partners, investors, advisers, suppliers, researchers and journalists. If you use the Away End app or website as a fan, our main Privacy Policy applies instead.
Away End App Ltd (company number 17316412, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ) is the controller of your personal data. Contact: contact@awayend.co.uk.
2. What we hold
- Your name, job title, organisation, and work email, phone and social media handles.
- Notes of our conversations, emails and meetings, and where a discussion has got to (for example a partnership or investment).
- Recordings, transcripts and AI-generated summaries of video meetings, where we tell you at the start that the meeting is being recorded.
- Requests you make to us, such as asking for a copy of our research.
3. Where it comes from
Mostly from you, when you email us, meet us or fill in a form. Sometimes from your organisation's website, LinkedIn or other public sources, from a person who introduced us, or from events we both attend.
4. Why we use it
We use it to run and develop our relationship with you and your organisation: partnerships, club and venue listings, sales, fundraising, research and press enquiries. Our legal basis is legitimate interests, meaning our interest in running and growing the business, balanced against yours. Where we send you updates about Away End, you can opt out at any time.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use these suppliers to store and process it on our behalf:

We may also share details with our professional advisers, with a buyer or investor if the business is sold or restructured, or where the law requires it. Transfers outside the UK are protected by the UK's adequacy regulations (for the EU) or by standard contractual clauses or the UK–US data bridge.
AI helps us organise information, but it doesn't make decisions about you. A person reviews anything that matters.
6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format. You can also object to being contacted at any time. Email contact@awayend.co.uk. We'll reply within one month.
8. Complaints
Contact us first at contact@awayend.co.uk with "Data protection complaint" in the subject line. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Changes
We'll update this notice if how we handle business contacts' data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
