Subject : Last orders please

We left a 15 year old lad who was on crutches at Watford Gap services after a game at Watford.

We didn't realise till we stopped at the next services but didn't go back for him or we'd have missed last orders.

The OB looked after him and let him have a sleep in the cells and his Grandad had to drive down and pick him up.

Suffice to say, his dad tried to kick down the door of the lad who ran our minibus.

From memory, our next away game was Tranmere and his Dad came with him next time.

Subject : What a great day out

Went to Watford once, a nightmare journey that took us 6 1/2 hours, drove around Watford looking for somewhere to park for half an hour, it was now 2-50pm, proceeded to run the mile we were from the stadium in absolute torrential rain, got in the ground to find the match had been delayed......

Then postponed.

Back to the car, nightmare journey home, got to Burnley at half 9.

What a great day out.
